Accuracy first
We check what we publish about a medicine’s registration or legal status against an official Thai source, and we link to that source. If we cannot confirm a fact, we either leave it out or say clearly that it is unconfirmed.
Official sources, cited
Status information (registration, prescription requirements, controlled-substance category, traveller rules) comes only from official Thai government sources. Background information, such as what a medicine is used for, comes from recognised references such as regulator product information and the WHO. See data sources & method.
Plain English, not advice
We explain Thai rules in plain English. We do not recommend medicines, doses or treatments, and we do not tell anyone how to get around the law. Our pages are general information and not personal medical or legal advice.
How pages are produced
Structured data on our medicine pages, such as registration tables, is generated from official records by software. Explanatory text is written and reviewed by our editorial team. We review pages for controlled and high-traffic medicines by hand before publication and whenever an underlying source changes.
Independence and money
- We do not sell medicines and we do not take commission on medicine sales.
- No company pays to appear on a medicine page or to influence what we say.
- If we ever carry advertising or sponsorship, it will be clearly labelled, kept separate from medicine information, and never allowed to change a page’s status information. We will update this policy before that happens.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and update the page’s “last checked” date. For significant errors about legal or controlled status, we add a visible correction note to the page. Report an error through our contact page.
Updates
We re-check sources on a regular schedule and whenever we learn that a regulation or registration has changed.
