DrugsThailand (drugsthailand.com) is operated by DrugsThailand, based in Thailand. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us about privacy at info@drugsthailand.com or through our contact form.
The short version
- There are no accounts, no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies on this site.
- Searching for a medicine does not require any personal information.
- If you contact us, we use what you send only to reply to you.
- We never sell personal data.
What we collect
When you browse
Like every website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. We use this data to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. It is kept only as long as our hosting provider retains its server logs.
We host our fonts and files ourselves, so loading a page does not send your data to font or script providers.
When you search
Searches on DrugsThailand are processed to show results. We do not link searches to your identity. We may keep anonymous, aggregated counts of popular searches to decide which medicine pages to improve.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, the topic you choose, your message, and the page you were on if you include it. We use this only to reply to you and to deal with your request (for example, to correct a page).
Please do not send us health information about yourself or anyone else. We do not need it to answer questions about the site.
Legal basis
Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA), and the EU and UK GDPR where they apply, we rely on:
- legitimate interests to run, secure and improve the website, and
- your request (the steps needed to answer you) when you contact us.
How long we keep data

Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting provider and our email delivery provider, under contracts that require them to protect it. These providers may process data outside Thailand, including in the United States and the European Union, with appropriate safeguards. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
Cookies
DrugsThailand does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the PDPA (and the GDPR where it applies) you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email info@drugsthailand.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) in Thailand, or to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the “last updated” date above. We will highlight significant changes on the site.
